IGNOU Online MCA Admission 2025:

The last date to apply for IGNOU Online MCA course for the July 2025 session is extended to 15 August 2025. IGNOU started MCA admission for the July session. Students who want to apply should have completed a bachelor’s degree like BCA or any other degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.

Students have to apply on the official website of IGNOU. They need to pay a registration fee of INR 300 and a course fee of INR 12,700 per semester. For the bridge courses MCS-201 and MCS-208, the fee is INR 2,000 per course. Payment can be done by debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking.

IGNOU offers a 2-year Online MCA course. It has 4 semesters, all equal in duration. The course gives good knowledge and research experience that helps students prepare for software jobs and academics. Admission is open twice a year, in January and July. The course is taught in English.

Indira Gandhi National Open University started accepting application forms for the Online MCA course for the July 2025 session from 6 June 2025. To apply, students must have a graduation degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. Students need to visit the official IGNOU website.

The last date to apply for IGNOU Online MCA admission 2025 is extended to 15 August 2025 for the July session. IGNOU does not hold any entrance exam for MCA admission.

Eligibility for IGNOU Online MCA Admission

Students should have a BCA or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a similar field.
Students who passed BSc, BCom, or BA with Maths at 12th class or graduation level can also apply, but they need to do bridge courses:
- MCS-201 (Programming in C and Python)
- MCS-208 (Data Structures and Algorithm)
There is 5% reservation for OBC, SC, and ST category students.

IGNOU Online MCA Fees

Indian students have to pay INR 12,700 per semester.
For bridge courses, the fee is INR 2,000 per course.
Students from SAARC countries (like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) pay INR 19,000 per semester. Bridge courses fees are the same: INR 2,000 each.
International students from outside SAARC pay $1,300 per semester.
Before exams, students must pay extra fees: INR 200 for each theory subject and INR 300 for each practical subject.

The last date to submit IGNOU Online MCA assignments for the June 2025 exams was 31 May 2025. IGNOU closed the assignment submission for the MCA online course for the June Term-end exam. Students had to submit their assignments on the official website ignou.ac.in or at the nearest regional or study center. Submitting assignments is very important because it carries 30% marks out of 100. If you want to sit in the exam, you must submit your assignments before the last date.

IGNOU Online MCA Exam Form 2025

IGNOU closed the exam form submission for the MCA June Term-end exam in the second week of April 2025. The last date to submit the exam form was 4 May 2025, but after that, students could submit with a late fee of INR 1100.
Students had to submit the exam form on the official website exam.ignou.ac.in. If students did not submit the exam form, they were not allowed to give the exam.
