Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) is the fifth open university of Maharashtra. It was started on 1 July 1989 by the Maharashtra State Government. The university is approved under UGC Section 12(B) and is also a member of AAOU and AIU. YCMOU offers an Online MBA course with many specializations like Human Resources, Finance, and Marketing. The university has 1711 learner support centers across Maharashtra to give education to students who cannot easily reach regular colleges.

Students who have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks can apply for the Online MBA. But they also need to pass the MBA-CET entrance test conducted by YCMOU. The last date to register for the Online MBA is 13 September 2025. The exam fee for MBA-CET is INR 600, and it is compulsory for all applicants.

The registration for the entrance exam started on 20 June 2025, and the last date to apply is now extended till 13 September 2025. YCMOU MBA CET: The entrance exam for MBA admission will be held from 20 June 2025 to 13 September 2025. This is an online exam and it is compulsory for admission. The exam will be of 60 minutes with 60 questions, but students only need to attempt 50 questions.

YCMOU Online MBA Fees 2025

The fees of Online MBA at YCMOU are different for 1st and 2nd year. It includes registration fees, exam fees, and project fees. Entrance exam fees are taken separately.

Eligibility Criteria for YCMOU MBA Admission 2025

Students must have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university.
