Anna University started its Distance and Online Education Centre in 2007 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The university has more than 10 study centres across the state. It offers courses like MBA, MCA, and M.Sc. in 11 different subjects. Students who want to join can visit the official website – @cde.annauniv.edu – and register for the course they want.
Admission forms for MBA, MCA, and M.Sc. will be available soon. The last date to apply is 30 June 2025. Students can fill the form by registering on the university’s website. All courses offered by the university are approved by the UGC-DEB and AICTE.
Students who want to take admission in the distance course must have a bachelor’s degree or something equal from a recognised college. But if the student has done their UG degree through an “off-campus” system, they cannot apply for any course.

Anna University Distance Education Admission 2025
Admission forms for MBA, MSc, and MCA courses at Anna University (Distance Education) will be out soon for 2025. The last date to fill the form is 30 June 2025. Students can apply for many courses like MBA and MCA. The admission is done through a test called DEET. For MBA and MCA, they also consider TANCET scores. Separate rank lists are made for both.
Students who pass the test will go for document checking. After that, they must pay the course fees to confirm their seat. If a student is from outside Tamil Nadu, they have to pay an extra INR 400 as recognition fee. Special students (differently-abled) can get a fee discount if they show a valid medical certificate.
