Indian government launched the MOOCs platform SWAYAM in 2017. NPTEL has had the largest number of courses on it and also hosts the national SWAYAM website — swayam.gov.in. IIT Madras Admission Process 2025

IIT Madras is ranked number 1 in Engineering by NIRF Ranking 2024. It is one of the best colleges in India to study Engineering, especially the BTech program.

In Phase I and II of 2023–24 placements, 1,091 students got placed.
Till April 30, 2024, more than 80% of BTech and Dual Degree students, and 75% of Master’s students got jobs.
Around 300 PPOs (Pre-Placement Offers) were given, and 235 students accepted them.
A total of 256 companies came for placements.
44 international offers were made.
